I’m a multi-media designer from Liverpool who specialises in graphic illustration, typography and art direction. My practice is informed by a range of influences such as art nouveau style illustrations such as the works of Aubrey Beardsley and Deconstructionist typography like the publications of Emigre and M/M Paris. I love maximalism and always go big whether it is small intricate designs that sprawl across or bigger encompassing designs that encapsulate the page. My strengths lie in hand drawing, adobe software, type design and photography which are all mediums where my creative practice thrives in.

Life death and permanence is a publication I created exploring the imagery and themes that surround the liminal spaces of graveyards and cemeteries, formulating these themes into 3 specific aspects: Life, death and permanence. Each theme embodies the imagery and layout of each particular theme. Through each chapter the reader is subject to changes in the layout of type, colour and visual imagery.

Project done in collaboration with the sound design agency Father and paper company GF Smith. The project was based on synesthesia a condition in which one sense is experienced by another. I created a outer cover and inner sleeve for their distinct soundscape based on GF Smiths 55 colours in their Colour plan range.

05 FIDDLERS PARADISE MUSEUM
Fiddlers Paradise Is a proposed Carry on film museum located at Fiddlers Ferry. The museum screens 8 of the iconic films, one for each of the cooling towers. The concept for this museum was formulated using the theme of hedonism and the location of Fiddlers Ferry power station.
